Nike Tribes Campaign
One of the biggest campaign I've ever done. And also the most memorable, exciting and inspiring...making heroes out of street boys. Months of preparation, more than 80 talented individual involved, a week of photography (shot by Ivanho Harlim), one casualty (he's ok now), hundreds of onlookers, thousands of photographs, gallons of perspiration and loads of adrenaline...www.nike.com.sg/niketribes
Nike Free
Going beyond simple outdoor advertising, this project breaks with convention, and brings retail out of the stores and into the streets – in effect, taking retail advertising to another level. Rather than just displaying posters, the actual Nike FREE shoes were put on display too on customised shelves fitted within the 6-sheet frame.

Where are ideas from?
...the toughest question to ask any creative person... because there is no right or wrong, there is no formula, no method and there is no answer. Is the creative mind inborn or can it be trained? I think it’s both.
I guess all ideas come about through some sort of observation of people and things and recognising an idea in them from what you’ve observed (A bit of lateral thinking will be needed most of the time).
Creativity as a movement in Singapore is relatively new, and cultural appreciation of creativity is even newer. Therefore I get most of my influences from the world and participates actively in a global culture. Sometimes, idea is not only about originality but also about reference, interpretation and judgment.
The chinese recently claimed that they invented golf much earlier than the Scottish. Both countries are miles apart and during that time there was definitely no way the two countries could have exchanged ideas. Just like if there are two islands that are continents apart with the same species of monkeys staying in them. When a monkey in one of the island gets the ideas of learning to fly, in a matter of time, monkeys on the other island will do the same. In short, ideas are floating everywhere around you. Whether you catch it or not that’s another issue.

A Beautiful Space
Nike Vending Machine
Vending Machine Inspired by football improvisation, the goal of this vending machine was to promote the playing of football anywhere, anytime. It was placed at high-traffic urban spots, transforming the street into a pitch, and lamp posts into goal posts. Possibly the first in the world, the vending machine was a massive hit, selling more footballs in one week than two weeks in stores. It also received widespread media coverage and was the talk of the town.
